My love for stone (marble) fruit only grows, and--much to the horror of various sellers, I fear--I find myself treating it as I do fruit at the grocery store, carefully inspecting each piece in a pile (or many piles) before landing on just the ones I like! I believe these two are meant to be an apricot and a plum, though as one also finds stone fruit miniatures, they might also be taken as a smaller than actual sized under-ripe peach and very ripe nectarine, I suppose. I chose them for their well carved forms, and nice short wooden stems, and fabulous color, with lots of veins in the marble showing on the apricot, and deep red-purple against green on the plum.
Apricot (presumably): approx 2 1/4" t x 2" x 2". Plum: 2 5/16" x 2 1/8" x 2 1/8". Price is for the pair.
