I know Steiff made a "Jocko" monkey hand-puppet that looked somewhat like this one, but I think this is likely a one of a kind homemade version, perhaps modeled on the former. He's been through a lot, and I did a little mending of a few gaps up his sides to keep him holding together, but he's such a sweet thing I thought him well worth the effort!
Mohair fabric body, which is especially worn under his chin; linen face and hands, embroidered eyes, and paint or marker highlighting nostrils and mouth. Visible mending/reinforcing in many places, but he's stable and holding together. A hand will fit inside the puppet and one finger inside his head! 8 7/8" tall x 7 7/8" across with arms extended; 3" deep (at head).
