Oh, this sweet fluffy creature, a little homely perhaps but more lovable for it, and with this great wagging pink tongue hanging out. Late 19th century or so I believe, painted on a plate (I thought was wood but now am thinking is likely hard paper mache) with a hanger on the back, and with the crackling to the black painted background around his head reading a bit like a halo of static electricity! Better in person and completely empathy inducing.
10" in diameter x 1" d. Crackling to the paint as evident and a few small chips around and the edges, but seems stable now and structurally sound.
