I believe this c. 1940s hand-painted wooden cutout used to be a door stop, but at some point the stop was removed or lost, so now it is just a cutout. I especially love the forward pointing horizontal line made by his forearms and the tip of the arrow--but best of all, on the more worn backside, someone long ago wrote "I love you."
12 3/4" t x 8 3/4" w x 3/8" thick. Dings here and there and some paint loss, especially on the reverse side where there is also some old paper stuck to his pants. Two nail holes in the green base where the doorstop would have attached.
