I bought this one just for the cover, with Bread Book handwritten in dark graphite letters against thick brown paper, which is darkened by stains across half of it, perhaps from oil spilled while baking! it appears definitely to have been the log/order book of a baker, as the handwritten lists inside are for cakes and pies and crackers and loaves of bread - by the dozen. Dated 1843 with a mix of filled and blank pages and, as an object, quite teeming with aura.
4 5/16 t x 4 1/8 w ; 14 pp. Staining as evident but no losses and tightly bound with string.
