A lovely little treen heart shaped box made of three different woods, with a very tight fitting lid lid with carved underside that sits flush and holds tight. No nails, so I presume the base (walnut I believe) was glued on, though done very carefully. I'd guess early 20th century or so. Perfect now for holding--or delivering!--a rings or other precious little things.
1 5/8" w X 1 13/16" t x 7/8" d and in very good condition, with one small rough spot along the edge of the heart on the base side as documented.
