A total charmer of a folk art articulated figure, with graphite drawn features on both sides, and with pins at shoulders, hips and knees. He’s got a wide range of motion which of course makes me glad, and I find his gestures, combined with carved profile and hand-drawn face (and ears!) super expressive. Someone recently honored him by making a stand for him, which is simple and understated and I think suits him fine, though he could certainly be removed from it if desired. With a nice dry wood patina and in very good shape.
11 5/8" tall including stand; stand measures 5 3/4" w x 2 1/2" d at base.
