Sweet Little Robin in Winter Painting, Oil with Glitter Snow on Board

A little one, but a sweet one, with this this little bird, which I take for a Robin, seeming like a beacon of spring hopefulness amid a snowy landscape. There is some sparkle to the snow from paint or a clear coat with some white flakes suspended in it like glitter. 

4 1/4" x 2 1/2" and in very good condition, on cardboard/art board. I'd guess earlyish 20th c.
