Hail Stones, Perth Amboy, NJ, June 23, 1906, Perfectly Silvered Real Photo Postcard

A collection of hail stones measuring 2 1/2 inches in diameter and 7 1/2 inches in circumference, collected from a hail storm in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on June 23, 1906. Combining many good things, surreal natural phenomenon and taxonomy among them, and I also always love a scratched negative print. Makes me think of David Hammons' snowball sales too. Love.

5 1/4" x 3 3/8". Good condition, much silvered photo, which I love. And with  "Ada" written in ink at the center of the reverse, which feels pretty poetic in its own right.
