Red Horse, Wonderful 19th Century Watercolor on Wove in Old Gold Painted Wooden Frame as Found

Luminous and magical feeling. The watercolored red of this horse seems as if from another world, and the horse itself feels beyond time, too. Early-mid 19th century American I believe, ink and watercolor on wove.  I am forever hoping to find old folk watercolors like this.

9 1/2" x 7 3/4"  Framed, under glass, as found. Watercolor early-mid 19th c.; gold painted wooden frame, c. earlyish 20th. Old fold lines and a few small tears to paper as evident, as well as some scattered stains, all feeling very much of a piece with it and not at all detracting.
