It's the coral under the glass dome that drew me to this late 19th century cabinet card, stamped J.N Wilson, Savannah Georgia, but the more I look at it the more I love It for the body language of the children-- the way the boy rests his arm on the table and leans in, as if to assert his ownership over the display (and, it looks to me, his grand ambitions in life, too), while his sister, one assumes, seems to sort of shrink away--though I like to think she's the one with the much richer interior life!
6 1/2" x 4 1/4". Very good condition, with a little toning/staining to the lower right corner border.
