Just the sort of creature that provokes a sort of protective, motherly love in me, all the more for trials he's surely been through. I've had a number of these old Czech "ramp walkers" characters in the shop, and never grow tired of them. The name refers to the fact that if you place them on a surface at a slight incline, they will walk themselves down it, with significant speed! C. 1930s, this is the first ape I've had--I believe that is what he is meant to be--and though slightly awkward in stance, he's a great walker when given the chance!
4" t x 1 7/8" w x 1 3/4" d. Plenty of wear to the paint on his face and paper arms adhered to his sides, but sound and stable and pretty charming I think!
