Another Rhinebeck find, which I believe came from Pennsylvania, and to my eye is pure perfection. I'm always searching for antique folk art pieces incorporating hearts (who can ever have enough?) and all the better hearts that double as arrows, pointing in every direction and meeting with more hearts in the middle. Plus a marvelous old crusty surface. Three layers deep, it was built to last, sound and sturdy and substantial. The mirror itself is newer-- perfect for clearly reflecting the face of one's beloved or oneself!--though also easily removed should one wish to use it as a picture frame. Terrific.
12" x 12" x 2 1/2" d. Very good overall condition, sound and stable. Newer mirror as noted, backed just with brown paper.
