WISC (Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children) 1949 Object Assembly Test Puzzle: Face

Regular price $24.00

I recently found several of these first edition WISC (Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children) puzzles, which I am listing separately as I think they would make for great little presents or stocking stuffers for children and adults alike--much nicer when enjoyed outside of the pressures of a test! They are really terrific objects -- the puzzles made of a nice weight tan chipboard with a bit of a sheen and black printed details, each in their own sharp, clinical looking dark green box with silver print and one initial--"F" for face in this case, at lower right.

The WISC Test, which I believe continues to be used, is an IQ test administered to children between ages 6 and 16.  Developed by David Wechsler and individually administered, the test is organized into subtests relating to measuring verbal IQ, performance IQ, and full scale IQ. The puzzles are part of the Perceptual Reasoning portion of the test, targeting visual-spatial reasoning skills.

Excellent condition. Box measures 6 1/2" x 4 1/4" x 5/8".
