I really love the head on this old folk art hobby horse--just the sort of kind and gentle horse one would like to be riding around the back yard! Creamy white and black paint on heavy board, with a slightly different disposition on each side, nailed to a long wooden post. Sturdy enough for many years of play ahead. Such a wonderfully graphic object through, I'd be inclined to hang it on the wall (and one could still take it down to ride around now and then.)
45 3/8 t x 11 1/8" w (at head, measured on square. Very good condition, 1940s-50s or so I'd guess, very sturdy, with light wear around the edges.
