Very Excellent Naive Football Drawing #4 (All the Teams! Helmets and Divisions)

Taking a break from the action on the field, here our young football fanatic zoomed out to take inventory, listing all of the professional football teams, their leagues and divisions, and best of all their helmet designs. The inclusion here of both NFL and AFL tells us this was done prior to 1970, when the leagues merged. My very favorite sort of thing: its maker clearly totally invested in what they were doing, and I have to think preparing to render each and all of these teams in action.  Happily this kid (a boy of 10 or 12 I would guess) drew a good handful (three others listed today, and I've got a few more larger scale as well.)
