My very very favorite sort of drawing, and thing: its maker clearly totally invested in the action unfolding, totally committed to capturing it, and also I think absolutely imaging themselves on the field as one or all of the players. Happily the kid (a boy of 10 or 12 I would guess) who drew this one made a good handful (three others listed today, and I've got a few more larger scale as well.) I really have no words for the pleasure drawings of this sort bring me, the truest kind.
