I must say I'm pretty obsessed with this one, which I am sure was made as an "art" Polaroid rather than being a product of happy chance, and which succeeds for me at least in taking full advantage of everything the polaroid format has to offer, while also transcending it. The ground behind the lush yellow form at bottom (which appears to be in the image, not painted on top of it, but which has a very wet nail polish sort of feel) shows a subtle all over patter of dots, which will disappear depending on the light, giving way to a matte orange brown color that feels completely specific to the Polaroid palette and nature. And so this feels like a very specific object, while also an evocative one. I could write a lot more about this but will leave it for now!
4 1/4" x 3 7/16" and in very good condition, with just a bit of darkening to the bottom edges of the white.
