Treen 19th Century Traveling Ink Bottle

Regular price $36.00

This is a beautiful antique hardwood portable ink bottle, Georgian era I believe, which certainly makes one want to get out a real ink pen and write a real letter! To close it, one presses down and turns the lid, locking it very tightly so that ink could never escape.

There are a couple of small chips around the lip of the lid, and some small stains to the wood, but it remains a very lovely thing and could certainly be put to use again. The glass bottle and interior rim around are stained black from years of use. 2 3/8" tall x 1 3/8" in diameter.
