I just love these little tin boats, one happily still with an adventurous looking tiny figure standing inside, attached by his feet--I think their forms, lines, and and old paint just makes them really beautiful things. I believe these are antique penny toys, late 19th century or so, most likely made in Germany but I'm not 100% sure.
Larger measures 4" l. Smaller 2 5/8" l. Good condition with rusting and paint loss as evident. The smaller on sits nicely inside the larger. Sold as a pair.
