I really have no idea how one could have made this, with cuts to the paper so tiny and fine, and I do believe this is about the tiniest example of a 19th c. Scherenschnitte (as these cut paper works were called) that I've ever seen. Plus in pink! Plus that little man with cane and his little dog with tail raised, and cozy looking little house, and two ducks swimming in the pond. Mounted to laid paper.
2 7/8" x 2 3/8" and in good condition, with a bit of corner loss to the backing paper at upper left and a few curls to the tips of branches or grass. Really no losses at all that I can see.
