Total love at first sight with this one, purchased from a favorite Maine based dealer--I've forever got an eye out for a homemade jigsaw puzzle but in my experience they're rare to find, and the painting here, of a cheetah (right?), I think puts this one in a class of its own! Really quite wonderfully done, very painterly, better in hand and very full life. A few of the cuts of the wooden pieces are a bit wonky, but I find that, and the hand-written description on the face of the box describing it as a tiger, just add to the charm.
Box measures 12 7/8 x 6 7/8 x 15/16. Lid just sits flat atop the puzzle, as shown in third photo. Painted surface in excellent condition. Corners of the box are just a bit loose but holding together fine.
