Just something about these three old lead sailors lined up in a row on this base, together forever, at the ready. Hand-painted, with pink cheeks, and the face of each with a different character than the next. Nice early ones, late 19th/very early 20th century, with the base I believe the work of their original owner.
2 7/8" l x 2 1/4" t x 1" d base. Very good condition, very nice patina. Sturdy and sound, with just the tips of their bayonettes of of a more bendable-weight lead, looks like the very tip lost of the one of the man at far right.
