Three Flowers, Blue Ribbons, Many Nasturtium Leaves, Lovely 19th Century Folk Art Watercolor

Another lovely naive watercolor found in Pennsylvania, this one purchased from a favorite mostly paper dealer who has been a source of many lovely things. I really love the blue ribbon here, snaking back and forth with no apparent function other than to deliver one more pop of color to complement those blooms. Feels like summer. Late 19th c. I believe.

10 1/4 x 7 3/8, one small loss to upper left corner, otherwise very good condition, watercolor on wove, color strong and paper not brittle.
