Three Antique French Black Lace Samples Mounted on Brilliant Blue

Just so fine and graphically striking I could not resist--these are three antique samples of French black netted lace mounted to brilliant blue paper, with embossed, gilded paper trim and handwritten labels at the corners. Late 19th century/1900. Surely inspirational fodder for something, and/but  I just really like looking at them.

Top two samples in excellent condition, A little crinkling and top edge creasing to backing paper of bottom sample as shown.  Longest measures 9 3/8" x 2 7/8".
