I love this snapshot for how the whole thing hinges on this man's raised hand, which looks as if pulling energy from the ether to draw a straight line of command between his palm and the shepherd's nose. Words fail me a bit, but somehow for me it exceeds itself to feel like a distillation of connection, control, power, discipline, attention. etc. and a metaphor for all sorts of things. Plus, I love a German Shepherd, so smart!
