A very nicely carved old tower of a whimsy, with three balls in cages tapering to four nicely finished posts on top. Around the perimeter of the footed base are two inlaid hearts, one inlaid diamond, and a second cutout diamond where the inlay appears to have been lost. Carved into three consective sides above are the initials H, J, W, which were painted or crayoned orange and I assume the initials of its proud maker.
10 11/16” x 1 9/16” x 1 1/2” and in overall good condition. It looks like there wase likely another element of inlay set into the recess about the lower ball in cage, now gone. There is also a bit of loss to the surface of one post at top, as detailed, which is not much evident unless one is looking for it.
