I believe this tall, bearded fellow is Canadian, but I don't know much more than that. With these white spatters on his face, coat and pants, I like to think of him as an artist (perhaps a self-portrait), though he also looks a bit as if he might be just-in from a long day fishing out in the rain or snow. I really love the intensity of his face, with this piercing dark blue eyes and straight line of a red mouth, and his exaggerated height, which gives him a Lincoln-esque feel as well. Quite a character.
13 1/4" t x 2 1/4" w x 7/8" deep. He needs to lean lightly against something to stand. His backside shows a hairline crack running vertically, but overall he's in fine shape.
