T Cohn Black Cat Tin Noisemaker c. 1940s

Originally a Halloween noisemaker, but--originally made to ward off evil spirits, it's surely useful for New Year’s too, and all of the rest of the time! Made in the USA. by T. Cohn  in the 1940s, and a relatively rare one to find. Works great --- hold the handle, spin it around and it produces a satisfying ratcheting sound. Great graphics, great fun, and I like the aging on this one—a little rusty, but not too much.

4 1/16" in diameter x 2 3/8" deep at handle. Sound and sturdy and works great.
