Sweet Little Carved Wooden Bird with Blue-Gray Paint (No Legs)

Just a sweet little bird to perch somewhere, which is does just fine despite (or maybe better because of) having lost its legs. I might guess German, but don't know for certain; I really like the form and disposition of it, looking gentle and curious, with tiny carved circles for the eyes and a pointy little pale yellow beak. A perfect shade of light gray with a bit of blue in it, making it almost baby blue, which is lost here and there, more on one side than the other.

4 3/8" l x 1 1/2" w x 1 1/2" and in good condition, with paint loss and legs lost as evident! (One could surely find some thin wire to stick in the two holes on its belly to give it legs again if desired.)
