Sweet Antique Ball in Cage with Link Whimsy with Remnants of Gold Paint

Not fancy, but just right, and a good old one-- late 19th/very early 20th c. I believe, found in Pennsylvanian, and with some of its old gold paint still hanging on in spots--subtle, but visible up close.  Stands on its own, with its one link dangling, and a very nice feel to it.
