A great small folk art painting, which happens to be the lid of a box! And I like that the sides of the box were painted just like a continuation of the yellow sky, streaked with pink. Found in New Hampshire, c. 1930s I believe. With a brass latch that closes tight.

7 1/8" w x 5 3/4" d x 2 5/16" t.  Very good condition. Some old red satin around the perimeter of the interior lid, otherwise very clean inside.
