I just love the stoic expression of the face of this little carved man, and also the silhouette created by his tapering arms and flared pants, three quarters length so as to give a full view of his boots. Standing atop his old tiered, black painted base (repurposed from something else I assume), he has a trophy-esque aspect about him, as if a poor man's version of an Oscar!
5 3/8” t x 2 1/16” d (base) and in great condition, varnished, 1950s or so I might guess.
