There once would have been a rotating lid keeping this guy concealed, but I think it's better for being gone, allowing for better display of him standing up--in one or both senses! And as such I think of his coffin as instead more of a boat, in which he stands at the helm, his phallus pointing the way forward! Very expressionistically black painted details on his face and for hair, and two tiny carved breasts, too.
4 1/4" l x 1 7/16" w x 1 1/16" d. Figure standing measures 3 5/8" t. Carved of walnut I believe and in good overall condition. His legs are attached inside by a pin; one needs to manually stand him up!
