This old articulated figure lost the better part of his feet some time long ago, but he’s smiling widely still, perhaps glad to be freed from the dowel that once stuck in his back and held him up to make him dance. The rest of him is in great shape, and in addition to the relief carved features of his face, I especially love his funny little extra short arms ending in round fists, which swing freely to and fro.
8 1/2" t x 2 1/16" w x 1" d. Early 20th century I would guess. Does not stand on his own but can be balanced to sit (I’ll included the block pictured in photos, which works pretty well) or he could be hung using the small hole in his back. Very good overall condition.
