I would use this gorgeous slab-formed studio pottery plate/platter/tray for serving anything and everything, from the most elegant arrangement of cheeses or small bites to the humblest, and leave it on the counter or sideboard otherwise just to admire. The round form with tall edge is perfectly imperfect, and the hand-painted, inky blue glazing over cream slip both rustic and refined; just a really lovely and super useful piece.
Interestingly, it is signed both on the face and on the back with what looks to be RGI or perhaps AGI. I found it at a sale with lots of mid-century Scandinavian, so think it might be as well, but am not certain. It is in great vintage condition and measures 10 1/2" in diameter, with 1 1/2" tall lip.
