These are three 1890s Kinney Brothers Tobacco Co. cards from an "Actresses" series that was issued to promote Sweet Caporal cigarettes. Someone fairly recently had new mats cut for them, which I think frame these lovely, dramatically posted ladies quite nicely. Too good to resist, and just fun.
9" x 7" as matted, mats in excellent condition, each the same pale rose color. Cigarette Cards (2 5/8" x 1 1/2" ea) were adhered to brown paper, which was taped to white board, with the top mat tape hinged to the bottom mat along the left side--as documented.
