Set of Eleven Beautiful Early Erzgebirge Houses

I'll never get over the beauty of these early hand-painted German Erzgebirge houses-the colors, the grids of black windows, the pitched roofs, each one a little different. (Nor will I ever get over the joy of photographing them!) All of these 19th c. ones are painted on both sides, and are, I think, as good as they get.

Set of 11. Average approx 1 7/8" t x 1 3/4". Little green one is 1 1/16" x 1 3/16". Beautifully aged, only losses are perhaps a few chimneys.
