I paid a fair bit for this whimsy, but it's not too often I find a painted whimsy, and the aqua blue on this one is way too good to have resisted. It reminds me of the Chrysler building too!--which is apt, as the whimsy is dated Sept 13 on one side and 1927 on another, just a couple of years before the completion of that Art Deco landmark (construction began in 1928.) So a deco skyscraper of a painted rattle whimsy. Photos really do no justice to this--my camera cannot fully process that color!
7 1/2" x 3/4" x 7/8" and in good condition, no losses just general surface and paint wear, all to the good.
