I bought these old boxes of Scripto leads--c. 1940s-- at the flea market because I loved the packaging so much: the striking graphics and mix of fonts on the front the boxes, especially, but also the great wood trays that hold the leads safely on the inside, and slide out for easy removal of one at a time. Just great design.
The 4" black graphite "Smooth Writing" box contains 6 leads the slotted wooden tray; the 4" "Red Long Leads" box contains 2 leads (one is missing). The packaging is in very good condition. Each box measures 4" x 5/8" x 1/4". Price is for the pair.
