This old dark stained turned round looks pretty humble, but it's really quite a beautiful one, with three lips that make it look a bit like a whoopie pie or flying saucer in profile! I found this lovely old burl this week too, and think they are quite satisfying together, so am calling them a pair. (Nice with the beehive treen bank I just listed, too.)
Box measures 3 1/8” d x 1 3/8” t. Burl: 5 3/8” l x 1 7/8” w. Both in good condition, with a couple of super minor splits to the lip of the box.
