Too pretty to resist, this wooden drawing triangle bears the name of its onetime owner, S.M Kensinger, carefully written in cursive along the interior edge of the hypotenuse. Just a nice thing to keep on the desk (or hang on a nail near it) , and looking at it makes me at least want to sit down and make precise, intensively patterned geometric drawings. I'm not certain the age of this, but it's definitely got some years; there is no mark except a "9" or a 6" on it, which has not lead me to its maker.
Sides measure 10 1/4", 8 7/8" and 5 1/8". Very good condition, with a handful of small stray black ink marks on one side.
