I found this one at a flea market in Lancaster County, PA, with the bright orange stencil-painted RR first making me think it was once carried by a railroad man. It appears to have been the clipboard of an architect or builder though, at least when last possessed--which appears to have been in 1973, with an order for plywood, some architectural plans, and some blank sheets of graph paper inside. Made of aluminum, with the front hinged to the back along the bottom. I for one am often wishing I had a good clipboard around and this is a very useful one, well protecting whatever is held inside.
12 1/2" x 9". Good condition, sturdy and sound, nice patina of use and wear.
