Photos don't quite do her justice, but this super folky bas relief carving of a pin up is among my very favorite Brimfield finds is this. I want to say nude, but it seems she may be wearing a few straps, and even perhaps a holster, or I'm not sure what?!--and flouncy heels, of course. I love everything about her, from seductive pose with one hand behind her head, to her curls and bow, to her terrific open face with large nose and slightly crooked smile. Another great one for the awkward nude collection, though I’d say she’s at a whole 'nother level of special.
12 3/4" w x 8 1/4" t x 5/8" d and in very good condition. I am not sure the age but might guess 1940s or so?
