These old printed sheets of cutout cardboard animals are so fabulous looking I think I might just leave them as is and frame them. But as there are two complete sheets and also two with some of the animals long ago removed, one could punch some out for play and frame the complete sheets. (The cardboard is also very heavyweight and the cuts clean, so that one can pop out an animal and then punch it back in.) The animals don't quite stand up on their own, but almost. I am not sure how old they are or who made them as I haven't found any others quite like them, but I would guess maybe 1940s or 50s.
Very good, clean condition. Sold as a set. Some aging to the cardboard is visible mostly around the ages of the sheets, but I think this just adds to their charm. Each sheet measures 16 1/2" l x 8 3/4" w x 1/16" thick. Animals are about 2 3/4" long give or take. Included are two complete sheets and two partial, as pictured.
