Pink and Yellow Bird #2, Worm in Beak, Pennsylvania Folk Drawing c. 1900

I found this drawing (and a second very similar, which I sold several months ago) in Pennsylvania tucked inside a school notebook, c. 1900 or so. Just a very joyful thing this exuberant pink-crayoned and graphite-detailed bird, worm in its beak and pink and yellows flowers of all sorts springing forth around it. As if all were right in the world, at least for this moment. PA for sure, graphite and crayon on lined notebook paper.

8 1/4" x 6 3/4". Very good condition, color bright, paper a bit brittle but not chippy.
