Really a sweet one, which I purchased from a seller in New Hampshire, who I believe acquired it from a notable Pennsylvania collection of naive drawings sold off some years ago. I just love the way its presumably young maker carried the patriotic theme through right down to mixing red and blue petals on the flowers. And then an all green tree at upper left, as one thinks they just really liked to draw branches--as well as stars, for sure!
7 1/8" t x 4 5/8" w. Some age toning, especially along the left edge of the ruled paper, and a little old crinkling, which has flattened out. Free of tears and not very brittle, and color is still bright and clear. Late 19th/very early 20th century I believe.
