This was a loose drawing from a larger lot of 19th century perspective drawings, including a full notebook (listed a few weeks ago and still available as of this writing.) Something to my eye very satisfying about this one in a stand alone way--especially the learning of that rake against parallelogram of a trough, which for me brings it all to life! I like the tension between orientations, too (a profile of a structure with chimney turned the other direction) and the descriptive titling along the bottom: "Parallelograms, Trapeziums, Oblique and Parallel Lines"--sounds like a poem to me!
6 7/8" x 5 3/4" . A small ink smear to the right edge of the "trough", original to it I believe. Otherwise very good condition, crisp and bright feeling.
