I don't go around looking for first or early editions of books, but I happened across this early copy of Lolita-- first US edition, second impression, with original dust jacket--and how to say no to a steal on one of the most iconic and controversial novels of the 20th century? A great one to have on the shelf, always ripe for a re-read and renewed discussion.
This is a first US edition, second impression copy, with original dust jacket, which at least for some period of time has been protected in a plastic sleeve. There are a few losses to the top and bottom edges of the dust jacket as documented, and a clipped corner to the front dust jacket flap. The book itself is in very good condition--clean, unmarked, spine straight and tight, pages showing no toning or flagging, etc. 8 3/4" x 6" x 1 1/2".
