This is one of a handful of to my eye completely charming miniature drawings I purchased together, dating to the first or second quarter of the 19th Century, and though likely to be of Virginia origin. It's tiny, but what a lot of wonderful detail and patten is packed in! The gesture of this girl proudly raising her doll kills me, and then this shelf packed with other little dolls and doll house furniture...amazing!
1 13/16" x 2 3/16" and in excellent condition. Plus signed on the back: Eva Belle!
